This bundle contains functions to help generate OAuth access tokens for your application's users.
To use the Choreos in this bundle you'll need a LinkedIn account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up here.
Register your application in order to get a OAuth client ID and client secret.
Select the default application permissions that your application requires.
Run the InitializeOAuth choreo, specifying the client ID and client secret from the app you registered at LinkedIn. The InitializeOAuth choreo will return an authorization URL, a callback ID and OAuth token secret (required for the FinalizeOAuth step).
Open a new web browser, navigate to the authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth choreo, and click "allow" to grant the app access to your LinkedIn account.
Run the FinalizeOAuth choreo, specifying the callback ID and OAuth token secret returned earlier by the InitializeOAuth choreo, to obtain an OAuth access token and access token secret that can be used to access the LinkedIn API.
Note: LinkedIn will only allow the following permissions to be requested for general use:
If your application relies on other permissions, you will have to apply to become a member of a relevant Partner Program that provides the necessary API access.
