The Choreos in this bundle allow you to search the CorpWatch database using a wide range of parameters such as industry, location, company name, date of filing, etc.
To use the CorpWatch Choreos you do not need credentials. However, registering with CorpWatch and obtaining an API key significantly raises the number of queries you can make to the API.
10-K FilingA company's SEC filings are called "10-K forms" and are intended to help investors and regulators better understand the risks, assets, and current leadership of a company in order to make informed investment decisions. One requirement of a 10-K filing is known as "Exhibit 21," which includes a list of any other companies that are owned by the corporation making the filing. The CorpWatch API uses automated parsers to extract the subsidiary relationship information from Exhibit 21 of companies' 10-K filings with the SEC and provides a free, well-structured interface for programs to query and process the data.
