Library . Withings . OAuth

This bundle contains functions to help generate OAuth access tokens for Withings accounts.

  • Setup Instructions

    • To use the Choreos in this bundle:

      • You'll need a Withings account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up here.
      • Register your application in order to obtain a Withings Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
      • Run the InitializeOAuth Choreo, specifying the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from the app you registered at Withings. The InitializeOAuth Choreo will return an authorization URL, a callback ID and an OAuth token secret (required for the FinalizeOAuth step).
      • Open a new web tab, navigate to the authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth Choreo, and click "allow" to grant the app access to your Withings account.
      • Run the FinalizeOAuth Choreo, specifying the callback ID and the OAuth token secret returned earlier by the InitializeOAuth Choreo, to obtain an OAuth access token and access token secret that can be used to access the Withings API data for a specific user.

      Completes the OAuth process by retrieving a Withings access token and access token secret for a user, after they have visited the authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth Choreo and clicked "allow."
