This Choreo uses your MailChimp API Key to authenticate your account with MailChimp, and adds multiple subscribers from a CSV file to a MailChimp list.
Your CSV file should contain the exact column names that correspond to your list. You must at least provide an EMAIL column header (this can also be referred to as MERGE0). You can see how your fields are labeled by going to the Lists section of the Mailchimp website, and choosing the "List Fields and Merge Tags" option for the list you are wanting to modify. Here is an example of a CSV input file representing columns: EMAIL,FNAME,LNAME,DESC,WEBSITE:
EMAIL,FNAME,LNAME,DESC,WEBSITE mary@temboo.com,Mary,Johnson,description text 1,temboo.com cary@temboo.com,Cary,Phillips,description text 2,temboo.com
Optional inputs such as DoubleOptIn, ReplaceInterests, and UpdateExisting are parameters that are applied to the entire list you submit.
The SupressErrors input can be used to ignore any errors that occur during the batch subscribe process. When this parameter is set to 1, any emails that are not successful will be appended to the ErrorList output. The SupressErrors input is disabled by default, so if an error occurs, the Choreo will stop and return the Mailchimp error.
The documentation for this MailChimp method can be found here.
This Choreo will return a list of email addresses that were successfully subscribed in an output called SuccessList. The following is a sample of the flat file information returned by this Choreo:
