Sets an attribute of a specified queue.

  • Input
    • AWSAccessKeyId The Access Key ID provided by Amazon Web Services.
    • AWSSecretKeyId The Secret Key ID provided by Amazon Web Services.
    • AttributeName The name of the attribute that you want to set. Valid values are: VisibilityTimeout, Policy, MaximumMessageSize, or MessageRetentionPeriod.
    • AttributeValue The value of the attribute you want to set. Corresponds to the AttributeName you specify.
    • AWSAccountId The AWS account number of the queue owner. Enter account number omitting any dashes.
    • QueueName The name of the queue you want to set attributes for.

    • This Choreo uses your AWS Keys to authenticate your account with Amazon, and sets an attribute of a specified queue. You specify what attribute you'd like to modify by providing a value for the AttributeName input variable. The valid values for attribute name include:

      VisibilityTimeout | Policy | MaximumMessageSize | MessageRetentionPeriod | DelaySeconds

      When specifing the new value for the attribute you want to modify, keep in mind that each attribute will have particular input constraints:

      • VisibilityTimeout: An integer from 0 to 43200 (12 hours). The default for this attribute is 30 seconds.
      • Policy: A valid form-url-encoded policy.
      • MaximumMessageSize: An integer from 1024 bytes (1 KiB) up to 65536 bytes (64 KiB). The default for this attribute is 65536 (64 KiB).
      • MessageRetentionPeriod: An integer representing seconds, from 60 (1 minute) to 1209600 (14 days). The default for this attribute is 345600 (4 days).
      • DelaySeconds: An integer from 0 to 900 (15 minutes). The default for this attribute is 0.

      Note that the UserRegion input can be used to access an AWS endpoint in one of the following regions:

      • US East (Northern Virginia) Region: us-east-1
      • US West (Oregon) Region: us-west-2
      • US West (Northern California) Region: us-west-1
      • EU (Ireland) Region: eu-west-1
      • Asia Pacific (Singapore) Region: ap-southeast-1
      • Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region: ap-southeast-2
      • Asia Pacific (Tokyo) Region: ap-northeast-1
      • South America (Sao Paulo) Region: sa-east-1
