Tracking a package is a great way to procrastinate—once you’ve placed your order, there’s practically no limit to the number of times that you can refresh a webpage in order to follow your shipment from facility to facility, state to state, and warehouse to your house. However, if you want to know when your package arrives but aren’t looking for a way to occupy endless hours of your time, you’ll need a more practical monitoring system. As it turns out, building one is pretty simple—all you need is a Texas Instruments CC3200 LaunchPad programmed with the Energia IDE and our FedEx > TrackingAndVisibility > TrackByNumber Choreo.
